Bracknell Deserves Better — Let’s Build It Together

We’re building a movement from the ground up

Elect local champions. Shape national change. Reform starts here.

The branch was formed in 2024 and has quickly grown to boast over 900 members and supporters. It was officially re-launched in August 2025 and is managed by elected officers under Reform UK regulations.

Reform UK Bracknell aims to contest every council seat with candidates who put residents first. Our goals are clear: Win local power to fix what’s broken, elect an MP who answers to Bracknell, support a Reform UK government that restores fairness, accountability, and common sense

Introduction by Branch Chairman

I have the privilege of serving as Chairman and Constituency Representative for Reform UK across Bracknell, including the Towns of both Bracknell and Sandhurst along with all or part of the Parishes of Binfield, Crowthorne, Warfield and Winkfield.

Like many of you, I chose to get involved in politics not because I wanted a political career but because I became increasingly frustrated watching decisions being made about our communities by people who seemed more interested in managing decline than delivering improvement.

Bracknell is a remarkable place and we are fortunate to live in an area blessed with strong communities, hardworking people, successful businesses, excellent voluntary organisations and a genuine sense of civic pride. Yet despite all of that potential, too many residents feel disconnected from the decisions that affect their daily lives.

Whether the issue is housing, planning, public services, community safety, transport, the cost of living or the future direction of our towns and villages, people repeatedly tell me the same thing: "they don't listen" and that has to change.

Politics should not be something that is done to people but done with them. That principle sits at the heart of everything we are trying to build here in Bracknell, as we passionately believe that local government should be transparent, accountable and focused relentlessly on the interests of local residents. We also firmly believe that public money should be spent wisely, public services should work effectively and major decisions should be taken openly and honestly.

Most importantly, we believe that ordinary people should once again have a meaningful voice in the future of the communities they call home.

Over recent years our Branch has grown significantly. We have elected representatives serving our communities, dedicated volunteers working across the constituency and an increasing number of residents who have decided that simply complaining about politics is no longer enough; they want to help change it. Although that gives me enormous optimism for the future, the challenge ahead is significant but so too is the opportunity.

As we look towards the 2027 local elections and beyond, our objective is simple: to build a local movement rooted in service, common sense and genuine community leadership.

So, whether you are a long-standing supporter, someone considering joining us for the first time or simply a resident looking for answers, you are very welcome. I hope you will take the opportunity to attend one of our public meetings, speak to our team and become part of the conversation.

The future of Bracknell will not be decided by politicians alone but one thing is for sure, it will be decided by the people who care enough to get involved.

Reform UK – Bracknell Branch

Malcolm was the Party's Parliamentary Candidate at the 2024 General Election, securing 17% of the vote in Bracknell, above Reform UK's national vote share.

A long-standing Bracknell resident, family man, local business owner and former Borough and Town Councillor, he remains committed to ensuring that local residents have a strong and independent voice on the issues that matter most to them.

In his own words:

"I believe politics should start with listening. Too often, decisions are made about our communities without properly involving the people who live and work in them.

In 2024, local residents helped us achieve 17% of the vote in Bracknell, above the Party's national vote share. Today, independent polling and electoral projections suggest support for Reform UK locally has more than doubled, with Election Maps UK projections placing us consistently above 30%.

My job now is simple: to keep earning that trust, keep growing our local movement and turn that support into real change across Bracknell Forest in 2027 and beyond.

Most importantly, I want local people to be part of that journey. Whether you simply want to keep informed, share your views, attend one of our public meetings, become more active within the Branch or join discussions within our Reformist Club, you will always be welcome.

Real change happens when ordinary people get involved, and I look forward to meeting many of you in person over the months and years ahead."
